Hoffman, Katherine - Assistant Director, IGERT. Provide technical and executive support to the Director of the Ecosystem Informatics IGERT program. Recruit students, including women and minorities, into the IGERT program. Responsible for advertising program and outreach activities. Lead and coordinate IGERT recruiting activities at OSU. Responsible for logistics for such activities as 'boot' camp, travel, meetings, Advisory Board selection, on-and-off site conferences and symposia, etc. Advise program director on policy and meet requirements which NSF imposes. Maintain a point of contact for inquiries on IGERT program. Responsible for ordering and maintaining equipment and supplies for the program and processing payments into the OSU Banner system. Expend and reconcile funds allocated for student stipends, internships, travel, research, and subsistence. Create and maintain budgets for IGERT expenditures. Produce financial reports for budget analysis. Hold signature authority for IGERT accounts. Interpret and establish policy for university administrators and others. Monitor student progress and advise on such things as Graduate School requirements and resolve issues which could interfere with a student's success.

Peterson, Melinda - Office Manager. Supervises support staff with responsibilities inclusive of interviewing and hiring personnel, assigning and reviewing work, preparing performance appraisals, reviewing requests for training and approving or denying, identifying training needs for support staff, approving leave requests, recommending salary adjustments, responding to grievances at first step, counseling employees regarding performance deficiencies, and when necessary, taking appropriate disciplinary action. Responsible for overall internal operations within the Department. Coordinates course scheduling, textbook ordering, catalog copy and registration. Responsible for the equipment inventory and maintenance of equipment. Responsible for the Geography and Geology alumni data base and for the annual and biennial mailings.

Schulte, Stacey - Student Affairs Coordinator. Serves as departmental graduate admissions coordinator by collecting admission application material on incoming graduate students and preparing the application so that faculty can evaluate and determine which students to admit and offer financial aid. Administrative support for graduate and undergraduate programs. Provides administrative support to the Chair and both Program Directors. Maintains the department webpages and mailing lists. Administrative support for graduate and undergraduate scholarships.
