• Try the GIS Cookbook or the University of Arkansas Libraries' ArcGIS 9 Tutorial
  
  
• Try the desktop documentation that comes with the software, OR ArcGIS Desktop Help Online.
  
  
• Send your question to the OSU Campus listserve (you don't need to be subscribed)

• Dawn Wright has a few software manuals, primarily for use in her lab (Davey Jones Locker, Wilk 257), but these may be checked out for only brief periods by filling out the sign-out sheet in there. Also, anyone can order ESRI documentation at a 30% discount via our site license. See www.geo.oregonstate.edu/esri/site2.html#docs. These are great long-term resources, if you need hardcopy.
